1. General Terms
1.1 Acceptance of Terms – By accessing and using ChipGears.com, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
1.2 Changes to Terms – We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our site means you accept any changes.

2. Products & Orders
2.1 Product Descriptions – We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images. However, vintage hardware may have variations in condition. If you have questions, please contact us before purchasing.
2.2 Availability – Some items are rare and may sell out quickly. We do not guarantee stock availability until payment is processed.
2.3 Order Cancellation – Orders can only be canceled before shipment. Once shipped, they fall under our Return Policy.

3. Pricing & Payments
3.1 Pricing – All prices are listed in USD. Prices may change without notice.
3.2 Payment Methods – We accept PayPal, credit cards, and other secure payment options. Payment must be completed before shipment.
3.3 Taxes & Duties – Buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or taxes.

4. Shipping & Delivery
4.1 Processing Time – Orders are typically processed within 2 to 4 business days.
4.2 Shipping Methods – We ship worldwide using trusted carriers. Delivery times vary based on location.
4.3 Lost Shipments – If an item is lost during transit, please contact us to file a report. We will coordinate with the shipping provider to investigate and verify the issue. If the investigation confirms that the loss was caused by the shipping provider, we will offer either a refund or a replacement.
4.4 Delayed Shipments – As the seller is not involved in the shipping process, if the delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe, buyers should contact their local courier for updates. If a package has not been delivered within 30 days, please contact us immediately. We will submit an investigation request to the shipping provider.

5. Returns & Refunds
5.1 Return Policy – Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery only if the item is defective, damaged in transit, or not as described. Returns due to compatibility issues or buyer's change of mind will not be accepted.
5.2 Return Conditions – Items must be returned in original condition.
5.3 Return Shipping Costs – Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or defective item). We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return. If the item is confirmed to be incorrect or faulty upon inspection, return shipping costs will be reimbursed.
5.4 Refunds – After received of your return package. Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days via the original payment method.
5.5 Restocking Fee – Some returns may be subject to a restocking fee. 

6. Warranty & Liability
6.1 No Manufacturer Warranty – Most vintage hardware is sold as-is without a manufacturer warranty.
6.2 Limited Liability – ChipGears.com is not responsible for any damage caused by the installation or use of purchased items.
